[Prague, CZ] Prague Castle, the city of a hundred spires 布拉格城堡區,一夕成銀白世界

Prague Castle, the district that all visitors can never leave Prague without visiting!! It is located at the northwest area of the Prague City, up on the hill right across the Vltava river. Due to its elevated location, you can observe the entire Prague city from this area, one of my favorite views of the city.

To walk from the subway station to the Prague Castle district, you would pass through one of these uphill stairs. When you finally are on top of the hill, remember to look back, then you would feel all these hiking up worth it!!

We visited in December. It was extremely cold up there. Remember to wear a hat and a pair of gloves. Of course, wear a nice warm boots. These rock roads are extremely slippery especially after a slightly rainy and snowy day.

Get a cup of warm honey wine and some hot potatoes and sausages. Enjoy your afternoon with this spectacular view.

We were really lucky to get to see two completely different scene of the city of a hundred spires just over night. All of these red roofs and spires just turned into silver the next day. It was serene, festive, and took my breath away.

[PRAGUE, Czech Republic]
Prague, capital of the Czech Republic, is bisected by the Vltava River. Nicknamed “the City of a Hundred Spires,” it's known for its Old Town Square, the heart of its historic core, with colorful baroque buildings, Gothic churches and the medieval Astronomical Clock, with a popular show. Completed in 1402, pedestrian Charles Bridge is lined with 30 statues of saints. (Source: Prague Wiki)
